My frequent musings on the transformative power of art take up so much space in my mind. I reflect deeply on the significance of admiration. A surge of euphoria inherently exists with profound expressions of art. I internalize art as if they were life-altering revelations made just for my consumption. It becomes a catalyst for a significant shift in my perspective. My friends would hear me say ten thousand times, “This just changed my life” -lol- but I mean, what truly would life be about without the brilliance of profound expressions.
Fandom is literally primal for a fulfilling existence on this earth. We are functionally obsessed with art and artist whether it be out of pleasure or our own desires and aspirations or a reflection of an unmasked or unspoken center of ourselves. Art is expression, expression of any kind.
Social constraints of our expressions are really boring and lame. Your feelings about everything in life are worth exploring intrepidly, courageously, and audaciously! Discovering the intricate details of your passion for people or an art form is literally a life source. it's a source of passion that propels our pursuits, whether it's seeking self-improvement or finding fulfillment.
Solitary does not exist in art, a chain reaction is always present, Art births art. Thoughts are driven by an entity. For an existence of mind, is an existence of art.
Knowledge and validation that your work matters is like a gift that keeps on giving. Fandom is so useful for our minds. Very often we don’t realize that the creative process involves a lot of validation for the continuation of an art form. Validation for the artist and validation for the fan. There is a reciprocal nature of this act. A connection that is not always apparent to many of us is that our hopes and aspirations are rooted in admiration or our enthusiasm for an entity, Aficionados do really make the world go round. Art continues to produce in the sight of art.
On the very few things I feel sure about, is that no man knows it all. Ideas and creativity come from active recognition of the art present. Of course, our individuality thrives, but creativity is triggered by an existing form of art.
There will always be a prevailing desire for admiration but despite the auspicious nature of fandom for both the fan and the artist, It is an anomaly that it is approached wholeheartedly and without shame but as usual, I’m here to give words of encouragement. Societal perceptions should never limit our expressive capabilities. This is one of the reasons, I had also emphasized on journaling and understanding oneself in a previous blog post. Don’t be doing “follow follow” and restricting your expressions of the beauty of an art form. Allow yourself to admire, allow yourself to take in the wonders of the art that exist and appeal to you.
It is inherent in my human nature to provoke a tumult of thoughts during my writing process and feel the need to give a disclaimer about delicate topics like this that could easily spiral into a scary obsession.
Your feelings about others are worth exploring courageously, not recklessly. Acknowledge the fine lines between appreciation of art and being a weirdo - do I need to explain this further? I will give reference to the movie “Swarm” - I believe that is all I have to say right now, so till next time my dears.
